The Turkish special steel producer ÇEMTAŞ Celik Makina Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. has placed an order with KOCKS for a Reducing & Sizing Block RSB® 370++/4 in the 5.0 design. This strategic investment is part of a modernization of the existing mill aimed at increasing product quality, operational reliability, and production flexibility in the company’s SBQ bar rolling operations.

Vardhman Special Steels, a renowned Indian producer of high-quality steel, has successfully commissioned the state-of-the-art 4D EAGLE S measuring system developed by KOCKS and LAP at its rolling mill in Ludhiana. The advanced system, installed behind the KOCKS Reducing & Sizing Block (RSB®) commissioned earlier this year, is now fully operational. Its laser light sectioning technology allows for highest levels of precision in full-profile measurement for rounds with diameters ranging from 16 to 100 mm, hexagonal bars 19.5 to 40.5 mm and square dimensions from 50 to 110 mm.

The new RSB® 445++/4 is designed for deployment in two independent rolling lines. With this mobile rolling block, the rolling mill in Georgsmarienhütte now operates the largest and most advanced KOCKS block in Europe, further enhancing the site’s flexibility and precision in rolling processes.
